Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT)

The University's MCAT Preparation Workshop is conducted by faculty members and testing experts who teach biology, general and organic chemistry, physics, verbal reasoning and writing material specifically tailored for the MCAT. All instructors focus on helping students perform to their best abilities on the MCAT.

Workshop Dates -- Cost: $650
, priority registration 6/1.
Available at the UO campuses in Eugene and Portland.
The sessions are live in Eugene and broadcast in Portland. Please contact us about joining the workshop remotely from alternate locations.

Priority registration is June 1. Students are encouraged to register before the priority deadline to allow adequate time for material order and shipping.

Practice Exams (Web Access):
Workshop participants will take a pre-diagnostic test and will have additional opportunities to apply test-taking and pacing strategies to AAMC practice tests. Instruction and rehearsal with the writing responses will help participants compose essay answers that earn top scores.

To schedule your standardized test, contact the University of Oregon Testing Office. Students may be able to receive financial assistance for a workshop as active members of the Student Support Services (SSS) program, or the Center for Multicultural Academic Excellence (CMAE).  Contact these offices directly for more information.

Students who are not currently active within the SSS or McNair programs would not be eligible for immediate funding.
