TLC Programs
The Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) supports two federally-funded TRiO programs that assist the needs of specific student populations. These programs include:
1. Student Support Services (SSS) provides free support and services to many non-traditional students to help their pursuit of bachelor's degrees.
2. McNair Scholars Program helps prepare eligible students for PhD programs.
TLC also supports the Undergraduate Support Program (USP), which provides academic assistance to students selected when admitted to the University of Oregon. Students are notified if they are eligible for this program.
PathwayOregon is UO's promise to cover four years of tuition and fees for students from lower-income Oregonian families while providing a program of comprehensive advising, academic support, and career guidance.
Teaching Effectiveness Program (TEP)
Activities and services to engage the academic community in viewing, assessing, and improving undergraduate instruction.
